ABOUT

Cenlo was founded in 1995 as a small building architectural design and construction company serving clients throughout Ontario.  Cenlo offers BCIN certified custom architectural designs, civil and structural professional engineering services, and radon mitigation and design.  We thrive on delivering construction-ready projects for new initiatives, whether in the municipal, commercial, residential, or industrial sectors.  Our key staff are natives to Sault Ste. Marie in Northern Ontario and have an underlying appreciation for the challenges we face in a northern climate.  We provide commercial/residential site developments, linear infrastructure, steel, timber, and concrete designs, coastal/marine engineering, structure rehabilitation, and much more.  Cenlo is a local, independently owned and operated firm in affiliation with Soo Mill Buildall.  This affiliation allows us to work directly with owners, contractors, and product suppliers throughout Algoma to deliver quality, practical, cost-effective solutions in a timely manner.

In addition to architectural design, Mr. McEwen also specializes in environmental radon mitigation, consultation, design, and inspection services.  He founded Canada Radon Inc. in 2013 and has performed testing and mitigation work across Canada for various Federal and Provincial entities (RCMP, Schools, CBRE, etc.) along with hundreds of residential customers and has become a national leader in radon mitigation in Canada.  Canada Radon Inc. was sold in the spring of 2022 and Mr. McEwen remains active as a consultant. Cenlo Engineering Inc. continues to offer radon mitigation services under Cenlo Engineering Inc.
